THE GOSPEL VS MY REPUTATION

Image
2Cor 3:2  [No] you yourselves are our letter of recommendation (our credentials), written in your hearts, to be known (perceived, recognized) and read by everybody. Hebrews 12:1  THEREFORE THEN, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who have borne testimony to the Truth], let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary weight) and that sin which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings to and entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us 1Ti 3:7 Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil. Your reputation is what people in your immediate sphere, environment or community believe and say about you. It's their perceptions of your lifestyle and character. It is largely influenced by what the see you do in the public. They might be somehow ignorant about your private life but...

NOT FORSAKEN! INDELIBLY IMPRINTED

Image
Some situations you find yourself in might make it look to you as if God's Word for you isn't working out, it might even make you feel like _you've been scammed or deceived_ by some prophets or ministers.  I am very sure that it was possible for Joseph to feel forgotten by God during his journey to the palace. At a point on the cross, JESUS also cried out loud and asked why He was forsaken by the the Lord. The great Prophet Elijah requested for death at a point when he felt overwhelmed by the opposition from King Ahab and her devilish wife; Jezebel. Abraham while expecting the promise at one point obeyed the wrong counsel of his wife by trying an alternative means thinking He was getting too old. The disciples also went back a fishing after the crucifixion of the master, they obviously felt that their hope was gone! You see beloved, what the situation presents is just a mirage, it is not true. The only TRUTH is that God's Word hanging over your life, though it looks pas...

THE WOE OF COMPARISON

Image
I grew up with the mindset of trying to prove to people how strong, brilliant, intelligent and diligent I was. I always wanted compliments, I always wanted attention, I loved the sound of "Well done", "you're doing well" and the likes. I just wanted approval and appreciation.....but little did I know that I was actually killing myself. I began to compete with the people and I felt were better than I was, I began to do things to make myself measure up to some standards. Gradually, I began to frown at other people's successes because I always felt the success recorded should have been recorded by me. I saw myself as a man running behind schedule. I wanted to meet up with men's expectations and the achievements of my peers. The more I tried to meet up, the farther behind I was. The more I compared myself with others, the more embittered I was at myself for "lagging behind".  On a fateful day, the light of God's Word dawned on me and I beheld...

VACANCY! FAITHFUL MEN AND TRUE FATHERS URGENTLY NEEDED!

Image
We are in a generation where what majority run after is importation and not illumination. This is a generation where relationships are more parasitic and independent rather than being mutually beneficial... What some people need is not Impartation but illumination. Some people have received so much impartation but no manifestation... All because there was no ENLIGHTENMENT, they couldn't channel the impartation to the right course. At a point in ministry, my eyes opened to this truth and I began to pay more attention to making men understand purpose... Knowledge itself is power.  There's this power and freedom that comes from KNOWLEDGEK. Knowledge itself is power, WISDOM is a living being Jesus didn't start by imparting the disciples, He started by encouraging them to follow, then spent time opening their eyes to the mystery of the Kingdom and finally IMPARTED THEM. Elijah did not impart Elisha at first, HE ENCOURAGED HIM TO FOLLOW AND THEN IMPARTED HIM ...

EGYPT IS NOT YOUR DESTINATION

Image
Staying in Egypt was only good for a season, it wasn't the promised Land. It had already become a land of suffering, however the people of Israel were emotionally attached to her for the cucumbers!! Staying in Egypt would continually be an action outside God's will, hence a NEED TO MOVE!!! SOMEONE READING THIS NEEDS TO MOVE!! Egypt had already fulfilled her purpose for the Israelites. It was no longer the land of blessings it used to be, it was becoming a land of torture and loss. Don't stay BEYOND the DUE TIME in that place! Discern the times and seasons, MOVE. The road to Canaan wasn't going to be smooth one but one thing was most needful; ABSOLUTE TRUST IN THE LORD through obedience to His instructions... They had the red sea to Cross, the wilderness to pass through, River Jordan to walk through and the Jericho wall to demolish amidst several other battles to fight... But as long as their TRUST IN THE LORD WAS ABSOLUTE, they would definitely inherit ...

Concerning Misinterpretation of Words, Actions and Intentions

Image
Have you been misinterpreted before or have you misinterpreted someone before😀? I understand how painful both experiences could have been... I believe that misinterpretation of words, actions and intentions are mostly products of one-way perspectives and perceptions. You'll always misinterpret other's words, actions and intentions if you always see things in your own perspectives and perceive them in your own way... Below are recommended ways that'll definitely help you not to misinterpret words, actions and intentions... 1. Be fast to hear but slow to speak: Much words produce errors. You don't have to say something to everything and you don't have to say everything on your mind. Bridle your tongues and build your mind!  It is the quality of the wise and the prudent to critically analyse and study issues before giving responses. Patience and comportment are very important actions to put up before giving response to issues. 2. Purge your mind of hurts ...

Confessions and Convictions

Image
Your revelation of God's Word shouldn't just stay in your heart, it must reflect in your vocabulary. Your convictions should become your confessions. We believe with the heart and we confess with the heart. Your words should not contradict the revelation of the scripture in your heart. The proof of convictions is aligning confessions. Your mind and tongues must be renewed to the revelation of God you've caught in your heart. It shall be unto you according to the convictions of your heart and confessions of your mouth. You can't believe in supernatural abundance and be confessing lack. Even in the face of lack, that which you believe in your heart should order and control your vocabulary until you begin to see it at work in your life.  Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the ASSURANCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN. This means that I'm not affected by what's unseen, I believe strongly and I'm fully persuaded that the "unseen"  blessings...
