Get up! Say NO TO FEAR AND DEPRESSION

A man can not live beyond the abundance that dwells in his heart. He is a product of his heart. A man’s heart is influenced and filled by what a man is taught, what he consistently focuses on and what he meditates upon. When a man is doing well or experiencing evil, check these variables for as a man thinketh in his heart, so he is.

The devil is a very cunning. He knows that the mind has great influence on both the spirit and the body of any mind, thus so he targets the mind to corrupt it. The devil does not have power over the recreated human spirit which has been sealed by the Holy Spirit. But the mind is an open field which has easy access to both the spirit and the body.

Fear and depression are two powerful tools the devil uses against believers, when a man is trapped in the bandage of fear and depression, he becomes a prey to the devil. Apostle Paul said in his epistle to the Romans, For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. Romans 8:15.

The Spirit of Adoption is the spirit of boldness and sonship, the Spirit of freedom and Power. The Spirit that gives us boldness before God every time! The Spirit of God that dwells inside every believer!

Fear and depression are both products of shifted focus. When your focus is on the threat of the devil, the strength of the situation or the ugly mistake you just committed, then you’ve given in to oppression by the devil.

Fear and depression makes the Spirit of Adoption powerless and inactive in you. Fear and depression brings torment. Fear and depression bring sorrow and makes you weak for the joy of the Lord is our strength!

A believer who is not living out the joy of the Lord is weak for the Kingdom of God is in Righteousness, Peace and JOY in the Holy Ghost. Righteousness is received by faith and faith alone! Peace is a Product of our Justification by faith and JOY is the result of RIGHTEOUSNESS AND PEACE! THESE 3 ARE INSEPARABLE! If you loose the consciousness of righteousness, you can’t experience Peace in your and lack of Peace brings so much fear and depression, this is the absence of Joy!!

Take your eyes of the bigness of the project! Choose to behold the Almightiness of GOD!! They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. Psalm 34:5

Take your eyes of your mistake! Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews:4:16

Take your eyes off the threat of the devil! The psalmist said,  I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

Stop meditating on all the disappointments you’ve experienced from trusted ones! For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed. He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me. Behold, the Lord GOD will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up. Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow. Isaiah 50:7-9,11

Do not let anyone or situation determine your mood, a believer should live from THE INSIDE and not from the outside! The Spirit of God is the substance inside of you, GIVE HIM EXPRESSION. Fear and Depression has no hold on you if you choose to fix your gaze of Christ, He is the Author and Perfecter of your faith!

Tell the devil he has FAILED WOEFULLY!

Finally, be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Rejoice! Rejoice! Rejoice!
